Ghyll Scrambling in the Lake District

Ascend challenging ghylls in the Lake District. Ratio of 1:6 maximum. 1:1 £150, 1:2 75 each, 1:3 50 each, 1:4 £50 each, 1:5 £40 each. Price per person assuming a group of 6 is £30 per head. Helmets, ropes, harnesses provided. Boots are the ideal footwear.

Single Pitch Climbing & Abseiling

There are many crags in the Lake District which are suitable for groups using bottom rope systems and top ropes. Young people can participate in the belaying under supervision, develop trust, help and encourage each other.

A Diff in the climbing guide, a Grade 3 in many scramblers opinions - with an abseil if you wish down the back of the 4th pinnacle. Pinnacle Ridge is a fantastic scramble up Sgurr nan Gillean above Sligachan.
